The Grand Finale

Experiences;

This course has definitely been an eye opener for me with exposure to twitter, podcasting and blogs. I had always wanted a blog but was too busy to blog down anything and i find that i do not have the patience to blog so i forgot all about blogging.

This course made me realise that blogging IS a fun way to create a learning environment for students.

What did you learn?

I learn about teaching and learning in a new medium.
Using Wikis to share thoughts and ideas.
How delicious it can be to link video to your blog to spice things up!
How to use blogspot!

What did you find more interesting?

I find the podcast, delicious and wiki more interesting as i always hear about it but never really explored so this course creates a great opporunity for me to really check out the interesting stuff!!

What would you have liked to explore that we didn't cover?

Making our own website? ( i know its really ambitious :P)

If you were teaching this course, what would you do to improve it?

No comments here. I think it is a cool and interesting course and the tutor himself is very helpful and i get speedy email replies. In an online course, nothing matters more than a speedy response (emails and forums)as you know you can't see your tutor in person on a weekly basis. In a way it gives the students an assurance that the tutor is there to help if we are stuck anywhere!!

All in all, I had fun and learned alot throughout the course but it would have been more fun if i was not doing my masters assignment plus short semester in UCSI at the same time. Which explains why i am rushing all my work this weekend.

I enjoyed reading everyone's blogs and postings.

Thats all for now! Bye everyone!
Have a great holiday!

~Thank you George for all your help and advice throughout the course.

Podcast experiment

This is definitely a new experience for me. I am used to read scripts for cartoon characters and animations as well as recording voice over for slogans. This is indeed the first time for me to speak freely in front of the mic. I had to re-record this many times, much longer than i expect it to be. I realise it is NOT easy to speak without any script! After many tries, i decided to write out my script and it made things much smoother.
